The sculptures and surrounding niche were made to match the color and texture of this historic police station across the street from the tot lot at McCoppin Square Park. I made my sculptures fully three-dimensional and lively to contrast the existing (circa 1906) Greco/Roman style low relief artwork over the front door of the police station.
