Scott Donahue is a professional sculptor who has been producing major public art installations since 1983. He has designed, fabricated and installed 26 permanent public art pieces in California and Colorado and completed 40 temporary public art works in New York, New Jersey, California, and Italy. He uses a variety of techniques and works with a wide range of materials including concrete, bronze, fiberglass and ceramic. Each of his pieces is unique and specific to the site where they are located.
His clients have included the cities of San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley; Rutgers University; Bay Area Rapid Transit; Regional Transit District of Denver; two churches; and five commercial developers. He has taught at U.C. Berkeley, U.C. Davis and California College of the Arts
Scott has served as an elected official in the Bay Area city of Emeryville California. For eight years he was a council member or mayor and participated in regional agencies.
He lives with his wife and works at the Emeryville Artists Co-op
